Editorial Independence

SWISS RATED exists to evaluate hotels independently. Ratings reflect the assessment of our reviewers and are not determined by hotel marketing, popularity or crowdsourced review averages.

Complimentary upgrades, hosted elements or other hospitality do not guarantee favourable coverage and may be disclosed where relevant.

Our scoring framework is applied consistently while recognising differences between property categories, price levels and intended purpose.
